Healthy Pumpkin Pie!

For the past few days, I have delved into the serious business of Pumpkin Pie research. I've been looking at different Pumpkin Pie recipe's on every social media platform, have searched on every search engine, and have come up with my own magnificent Healthy Pumpkin Pie recipe that doesn't involve complex Superfoods and ingredients that you can only get from Narnia. I'd love for you guys to try this recipe out for yourselves and tell me about it!
On an unrelated note... I have no idea how Pumpkin Pie is meant to taste like. Personally, it wasn't the best thing I've ever tasted, but tasty nonetheless!


½ cup Ground Almond
½ cup Cooking Oats
¾ cup Wholemeal flour
⅜ cup Coconut Oil
2 tbsp Honey
1 Banana
1 pinch of Sea Salt
¼ tsp Vanilla Extract

2 cups Pumpkin Purée
¼ cup Honey
4 Egg Whites
1 pinch of Sea Salt
2 tsp Cinnamon
½ tsp Ground Ginger
¼  tsp Ground Cloves
1 cup Almond Milk


1. Mix all the Crust ingredients together into a large mixing bowl. Make sure your oil is melted!

2. Take a Baking Pan and lightly grease with Coconut Oil

3. Take your Crust mixture and spread and flatten it into the Baking Pan.

4. Mix all the Filling ingredients together into a large bowl. If your mixture is lumpy, transfer the mixture into a blender to mix it up!

Here's what I mean when I say 'If your mixture is lumpy...'

And here's why you're better off using a blender!

5. Pour the Filling into the Baking Pan on top of the Crust.

6. Bake at 180°C for 45 minutes. The top should be an orange-y brown colour.

7. Let the Pie cool for 30 minutes.

8. Enjoy!
